Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Sparks, of the home; four sons, Jimmy Sparks of Anderson, Ala., Jerald Sparks of Payneway, James Sparks of Coloma, Mich., and Robert Sparks of Marked Tree; five step-sons, Larry Tesch of Harrisburg, James Butcher of Marked Tree, Billy Butcher of Springfield, Ohio, Harry Butcher of Leachville, Minn., and Theodore Butcher of Tampa, Fla.; three daughters all of Marked Tree, Mrs. Barbara Cantwell, Miss Debra Sparks, and Miss Retha Sparks; four step-daughters, Mrs. Nancy James of Michigan (no hometown available), Mrs. Cindy Lou Segal of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Miss Mabel Pankey of Caraway, Mrs. Marie Wodiecker of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Myrtle Pickle and Mrs. Opal DeBusk, Both of McAllister, Okla.; 34 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday morning at 10 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg. Burial will follow at the Monette Cemetery.
