MRS. MORRIS
Mrs. Josephine P. Morris, 74, of 2205 E. Trinity died at 11:15 a.m. Monday in a local hospital following a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 3, 1897 in Teneha, Tex., daughter of the late James and Lula Plemons Porter. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are the husband, W. B. Morris of Victoria; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Williams of Houston; two sons, A. W. Morris of Victoria and O. D. Morris of Houston; a sister, Mrs. E. M. Dendy of Carthage; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. from Colonial Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shackelford officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Earl Erikson, Eddie Binning, John Rohrbacher, L. R. Hatterman, Oscar Vogt and C. C. Wright.
Honorary pallbearers will be C. G. Erwin and Gus Lassman.
