JOHNSTOWN — GOHN – Wilma R., 91, Ferndale, died Aug. 3, 2011, at Windber Hospital. Born June 16, 1920, in Mundys Corner, daughter of the late Simon and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Gillin) Griffith. Preceded in death by son, William R. Gohn; grandchildren, Deborah Ruth Porter and Richard Keith Gohn; and sisters, Viola Reed and Lillian Ritchey. Survived by daughter, Carolyn R. Porter, and husband, Robert, Ferndale; grandchildren, Sharon Stephenson, and husband, Paul; and David Porter, and wife, Judy; great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Justin Stephenson and David and Matthew Porter; sister, Dorothy Ritchey, Marion, Pa.; daughter-in-law, Carol Gohn, Altoona; and a number of nieces and nephews; also special niece, Delores Hagerich. Former member of Ferndale United Methodist Church. She retired from Stuver's Restaurant. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Edward Devore, officiating. Interment, Headrick Union Cemetery.
