Royce Lee Church, 86, of Russellville, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.

He was born June 11, 1926, in Jerusalem, the son of George Odis and Delia Price Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran and attended Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, 1 sister; and 1 step-daughter, Rheda James.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtis Church of Russellville; step-son, Larry Ashmore of New Zealand; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Stewart, Linda and Robert Benge, and Brenda and Paul Applegate; step-daughter, Paula Freedle; brother, Les Church of Russellville; sister, Betty Latin of Texas; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Mark Simmons officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday.

Pallbearers are Dwayne Stewart, Gerran Pyles, Jacob Pyles, Al Freedle, Jack George and Ronnie Tackett. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Darter and Jes Conley.
