Martha Lucile (Borgmier) Howard,90,of Smithville Mo passed away Saturday,Sept 29 2012.
She was born on June 6 1922 to Clyde Wesley & Evelyn Ruby (Swaney) Borgmier. in Smithville, Mo. where she grew up & in 1940 graduated from smithville High School.
On July 18 1943 she united in marriage to Duane R. "Tiny" Howard. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home. Martha worked alongside her husband in his autionerring bussiness.
Tiny passed away on Aug 10,2002.
Martha was a member of the First Christian Church, Smithville. She was very devoted mother who was very involed with her children by being room mother. Girl Scout Leader & Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in high school & college sports.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Joyce Howard,FAG# 67165655 & one brother Albert Borgmier FAG# 35484955.
Martha is survived one son,Dr.Richard Howard & wife Connie,Spokane Wa; two daughters Nancy Anderson & husband Steve, Lyndon,Ks, & Sue Boswell & husband Bill,Smithville,Mo;grandchildern,Dr John Andeson & wife Laura,Joe Anderson & wife Paula,Ryan Howard,Nicholas Howard & wife Haley,Carrie Cissell,Kelsey Boswell & wife Jan & Cody Boswell; Great-grandchildren Kali & Braden Howard,Hunter,Cassidy,Rosanna,& Andrea Anderson,Shae & Kenndall Cissell,Kyleigh Reid, Brooks Boswell & unborn Boswell twins; several nieces & nephews other relatives & friends.
