OLLIE MARY THORNTON Ollie Mary Thornton was born in Liberty, WV on February 10, 1910, the daughter of John and Cora Dove Straight Cochran and passed away in Rolla on October 28, 1997. She had attained the age of 87 years.She was united in marriage to Arthur James Thornton in 1932 and unto this union one daughter was born.'He preceded her in death on July 3, 1989.She attended the Assembly of God Church in Dixon as long as her health permitted and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.Funeral services were held in the Mt. Zion Church in Given, WV on Saturday, November 1, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. with Dencil Cockran officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Bill, Charlie and Dingle Cochran, Jimmy King, Raymond Seller and Bob Casto, all under the direction of the Long Funeral Home ol Dixon.
