REYNOLDS, STANLEY G., 86, of Post Road, died Sunday in Brentwood Nursing Home, Warwick. He was the devoted husband of Doris M. (Thomas) Reynolds.
Born in North Kingstown, a son of the late Theodore M. and Helen (Angell) Reynolds, he was a life long resident of North Kingstown.
A veteran of The United States Army, he served in World War II. Mr. Reynolds had been employed with Grossmans Inc. for thirty eight years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Washington Lodge F&AM, the American Legion, the Wickford Club. He served as chairman of the Republican Town Committee for eighteen years and also served as chairman of the Board of Canvassers.
Mr. Reynolds was a direct descendant of Roger Williams, Thomas Angel, Surgeon John Greene and John Cranston.
