Born on June 16, 1914 in Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gwendolyn Mansfield and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. A graduate of Stroudsburg High School, Betty worked for Bell Telephone for many years until retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church and the Bell Telephone Pioneers.
Surviving are a daughter, Gwen Cramer and her husband, Clinton "Butch" of Tannersville; a son, Gary Peckman and his wife, Lena of White Lakes, NC; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Willita Rogalinski and Catherine Derrig; and a great grandson, Daryl Peckman, Jr.
