George Anstett Of Remington Dies Sunday
George G. Anstett, Sr., 67, of Reminngton, died at the Jasper County Hospital, Sunday at 9:00 a.m., following an illness of 6 weeks.
Born at Dunnington, November 24, 1904, he was the son of Charles J. and Anna (Hardebeck) Anstett. A retired businessman, he had lived at Remington 31 years.
His marriage to Blanche O. Bonneau took place in 1927 at Fowler. She passed away in February, 1967.
Mr. Anstett was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington and the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. John the Baptist Court of Fowler.
Surviving are four sons and three daughters; Robert J. of Remington; George, Jr., of Elgin, Ill.; Frank S. of Wilmington, N.C.; John R. of Chicago; Mrs. Homer (Shirley) Clark of Pawnee, Ill.; Mrs. Ronald (Ruth) Lamie of Monticello; and Mrs.Joseph (Margaret) Hall of Derby, Ind. and 25 grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters; Mrs. Arthur Reifel of Fowler; Mrs. William Morgan of Lafayette; Mrs. I.D. Pior of Whitewater, Wisc.; Mrs. Roland Boulder of Lafayette; and three brothers; Ervin of Ocala, Fla.; Alfred of Peoria, Ill.; and John of Battleground.
Funeral services will be held from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Remington at 10:30 a.m. (EST) Wednesday, with Fr. John Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
