Mr. Collette was born in Hampstead, N.H. March 12, 1915, a son of the late Joseph and Leah (Fontaine) Collette.
Before moving to Salem, he was a lifelong resident of Hampstead. Mr. Collette was a US Army World War II veteran. He was employed by Bolton Emerson as a machine grinder for over 35 years. He was a member of Holy Angels Church in Plaistow, N.H. and St. Anne's Church in Hampstead. He was also a member of the Senior Center in Hampstead. He enjoyed watching sports on TV especially baseball and football and playing cards.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews. He was predeceased by wife Gertrude H. (Merrow) Collette in 1994.
