Romie Wilson Neisler, 81, son of the late David & Mattie Horton Neisler was born January 1, 1923 in Reagan, Tennessee and passed away on January 3, 2004 in Jackson, Tennessee.
Romie graduated from Sardis Tennessee High School and during WW II he served in the Eighth Air Force in Engineering Operations and Intelligence with the 364th Fighter Group 383 Fighter Squadron at Honington Air Base near Bury St. Edmunds, England and with the 384th Bomb Group in Istres, France.
Rommie married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Frances Weaver on December 22, 1945.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Frances Weaver Neisler, Jackson, Tennessee; daughter, Jane Neisler Stockwell Terry; son, Joe Wilson Neisler; one granddaughter; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
Romie was preceded in death by his parents, David & Mattie Horton Neisler; brother, Eugene Neisler; sister, Ruth Neisler Moore.
