Our Mother, Maxine A. Streblow, a life-long resident of Montague, passed away in presence of her family. Born on July 1, 1925, she passed away on April 8, 2015.
Mom was a homemaker and a baker. According to her son-in-law, the best pie he ever had was made by our mother. Gardening was a love of hers and she always had flowers. Mom was from The Greatest Generation and was staunchly patriotic.
She was devoted to her grandchildren, all 13 of them. She also had 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, John W. Streblow, granddaughter, Stephanie M. Wilson, seven sisters and one brother. She leaves behind Peggy Wilson (Joe), Cindy Courval (David), Becky Gleason (Robert), Jonnie Kay Wilson (Bert), Nicolee Chandonnet (Scott), a sister, Karen Goodrich, and countless family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
