Former Beloit Couple Killed; Daughter Hurt
A former Beloit couple who moved to Hancock in the part of Wisconsin only recently, yesterday were killed when the automobile in which they were riding apparently collided head on into a truck near Plain field.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Long Jr., were The victims of the accident and their three year old daughter, Brenda, was injured seriously.
Long was the son of Harry Long,Sr., 909 Fifth St. Word about the death of his and daughter in law, was received by him shortly after 7p.m. yesterday when police officers here were asked by Waushara County officials to locate the parent.
Sheriff August Forzene of Waushara County reported that Long's automobile apparently skidded on a slippery highway and struck the truck. The son was 25 years old and his wife was 21.
The father last night said he would go to Plainfield immediately to make funeral arrangements and arrange for the care of his granddaughter.

Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Harry T. Long will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer chapel. An out of town pastor who is a family friend will be in charge. Burial will be in East Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4p.m. Saturday.


I checked Saturdays paper and they did not have a larger write up or any thing about Brenda passing away.
