July 31, 1999 Lasca left this world in her style of dignity and grace.
Born July 22, 1911 a daughter of Francis and Electa Dorrity. She married Merlin Hunt on April 2, 1928.
She had a bright mind and intellect accomplishing many varied things in her life. She was president of the Primary, secretary of the Relief Society, treasurer of Paragonah Town for many years, and worked at the school lunch. She worked at the Iron County Rest Home for 30 years and became administrator for the facility for most of that time. Her greatest accomplishment was that of her six children. She was the finest mother and friend. She loved her family and all her energies were devoted to their growth and development. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren gave her great joy.
Her family is a legacy to her. She was a gracious, giving woman who blessed all she could in this life time. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Bernell and two daughters LeJean and Mildred, and all if her siblings except one sister. It is now up to her children to carry on where she left off.
Her surviving children and spouses are: Wanda Benson (Clarence) of Parowan, Larie Tippetts (Jay) of Arnold, CA, and Janet Groskreutz (Biff) of Roy, UT. She has 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her only sister Rosella Barton of Salt Lake City, UT.
Funeral will be held Wednesday, August 4, 1999 at 1 p.m. Paragonah Ward Chapel. Viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Paragonah Cemetery.
And they called her mother and she nursed them by her side. Today mother you shine!
