Mrs. Addie Ransom, 84, of 602 North Redington Street, Hanford, died yesterday in a local rest home after a long illness.
She was a native of Colorado and came to California in 1921.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Eller of Hanford; a son, Lake S. Ransom of Boston, Mass., and one grandchild.

RANSOM--In Longmont, Monday, July 27, 1903, of heart and stomach trouble, Albert Ransom, aged 34 years.
Mr. Ransom has been suffering with the trouble that finally took his life, for several months, and he has traveled east to find a change made no permanent improvement.
He was the grandson of Daniel Ransom who passed this life in 1894, one of the fathers of our town. His father, the late Lake Ransom, died in Chicago before his grandfather died.
Albert Ransom was born in Chicago in 1869, and came to Longmont about 1884. He has been a farmer and cattleman. Married to Addie Smith June 19, 1888. Besides the wife he leaves two children, Lucille aged 14, Lake, aged 8. His mother also survives him and now lives in Chicago.
He was a member of Longmont Lodge no 29, I. O. O. F., having joined the Lyons lodge and transferred to Longmont.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Dr. Longren, assisted by Rev. Jas. McLaughlin. AT the grave the Odd Fellows took charge and Rev. Jas McLaughlin acted as Chaplin for the lodge.
