The funeral of George Springston was held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Baptist church and was largely attended, the pastor, Rev. L. R. Wilson preaching the sermon. Mr. Springston is survived by his wife and five children all of whom were here for the funeral. Earl, the youngest son is at home with his mother. The other children, residing at Chicago and Clarksburg, remained several days after the funeral to be with and comfort their aged mother, before returning to their respective homes.
