Aaron was a Justice of the Peace for two terms, Constable, and Collector. He was a Democrat, Methodist and man of good standing in the community. (History of Adams Co.) It appears from family records that even though he was in poor health for many years, Aaron was the strong one in the family. He was constantly handling legal and financial affairs for his brothers, sisters, and friends. He appeared to be somewhat of "the bank". His tombstone has also been located in the Baker Cemetery on the House farmland.
