Mrs. Lillian Irene Keltner, daughter of the late Alvin U. Landis and Ida Squires Landis, was born May 26, 1907, in Green County and departed this life August 14, 1994, at the McDowell Skilled Nursing Facility in Greensburg. She was 87 years, two months and 22 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church at the time of her death. Mrs. Keltner united in marriage to Hobert Keltner, May 26, 1928, who preceded her in death on June 13, 1976. To this union was born one daughter: Sharon Keltner Davis, who preceded her mother in death November 22, 1993. Mrs. Keltner is survived by three grandchildren: Leisha Davis Smith, Route 2, Greensburg; Gretchen Davis Bradshaw, Campbellsville, and Michael Eugene Davis, Route 2, Greensburg. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother: Eula May Reynolds, Indiana; Dee Landis Lile, Route 4, Greensburg; and Clifton Landis, Greensburg; one son-in-law, Marshel Davis of Greensburg. A brother, Shively Landis, preceded his sister in death. Three great-grandchildren survive: Stephen Douglas Smith, Daniel Warren Smith and Emily Bradshaw. A host of other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Irene Keltner were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. Ronda Arnett and Rev. Garlen Skaggs officiated. Pallbearers were Neal Davis, Jackie Bishop, Barry Arnett, Garnett Wayne Davis, Joey Bishop and Randy Mays. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Landis, Rex Keltner, Donnie Landis, Scottie Davis, Larry Bishop and Ronnie Bishop.
