Saturday May 9, 1925, J. W. Simpson died at his home near Webbs; he had been in failing health for several years. He leaves a wife and five children, 4 boys ad one girl, to mourn his departure. he was a kind, loving husband and father. Funeral services were conducted at Oak Grove Church, Sunday afternoon by Rev. A. A. Bonta, burial was in the Nate Judd Cemetery. The breaved have sympathy of the entire community.
