Mrs. Amsler, 80, Of McGregor, Dies in Hospital

McGregor -- Mrs. Mozelle Branson Amsler, 80, of McGregor, former Fort Worth resident and granddaughter of a pioneer Dallas area settler, died in a Waco hospital Monday.

She was born in Wheatland, a community near Dallas of which her grandfather, Thomas Branson, was a co-founder.

She lived in Fort Worth 37 years and was married to the late V. M. Blow, a Fort Worth attorney who died in 1948.

She was married to Walter F. Amsler, member of a pioneer McGregor area family, in 1952. Amsler died in 1967.

She is survived by two brothers, W. L. and G. F. Branson of Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church here. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood in Fort Worth.

McGregor, Texas -- Mrs. Mozelle Branson Amsler, 80, of McGregor, McLennan County, a native of Dallas County, died here Monday.

A former member of the old Wheatland Methodist Church, Mrs. Amsler had formerly lived in Fort Worth for 37 years. She was a member of the McGregor First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the McGregor First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Fort Worth.
