Mrs. Eliza Jane Copeland, 86, of 926 North Philadelphia, died at 9:20 pm. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emma Conaster, 916 North Tucker. Mrs. Copeland had lived in Shawnee for about 30 years. She is survived by two daughters other than Mrs. Conaster, Mrs. B.F. Enochs, Kilgore, Texas and Mrs. Ada Gean, Raymondville, Texas; one son Charles Copeland, Tribbey; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Moore, Shawnee and Mrs. Mary Dodd, Iron City,Tennessee and 19 grandchildren. Services will be at 2pm at Gaskill Chapel with Rev. L.L. Peninger, pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Moral Cemetery, south of Tribbry.
