Eunice White Long, age 89, born in Perdido, AL and a resident of Theodore, AL died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Crowne Health Care in Mobile. She was a retired seamstress at Mannor Slacks and Vanity Fair.
She is survived by her children, Robbie Sherrill (Charles) Lyles of Theodore, AL, Dixie Jean (Chuck) Tignor of Kansas City, MO and Judy Antionette Bretzman of Richmond, VA; one brother, Martin A. White of Bay Minette, AL; one sister, Opal Horn of Perdido, AL; four grandchildren, Gene Lyles, AST, Sheri Moore Knight, Capt. Alex Tignor, US Army and Lauren Bretzman Vinayak; five great grandchildren, Tiffany Olsen, Sgt. Patrick Moore, US Air Force, Chris Knight, Anna Marie Lyles and Jonathan Lyles, National Guard and six great grandchildren, Eric Tignor, Haiden Tignor, Ian Middleton, Natashia Olsen, Harry Russell Olsen and Derick Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bernard Long and her daughter, Mary Ann Long.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Revered Charlie Collins and Sister Thursia Long officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars – McGill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 1, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
