Funeral Rites Held From Home Today At 3 O'Clock
Edward F. Skarren, 63, died at his home on Moore street Tuesday evening at 6:30 o'clock after an illness which extended over a period of two years, and which became critical around three weeks ago. Death was attributed to angina pectoris.
Funeral services were conducted from the late home today at 3 o'clock with interment in the Episcopal cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Addie Peterson Skarren, a son William of Beaufort and three daughters, Mrs. Leslie Mason of Beaufort and Mrs. Kathleen Hancock, and Mrs. Alton Drumwright of Norfolk, Va., five grandchildren and three brothers, Harry Skarren of Norfolk; Frank of Philadelphia, Bert of Brooklyn and one sister, Mrs. Joseph McNally of Brooklyn.
