Waylon M. Becker, 31 years, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away early Tuesday morning (September 25, 2012) at Manor Care East in Green Bay.

He was born August 21, 1981 in Sturgeon Bay the son of Eric Becker and Sandra Raymus. Waylon graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1999. On September 25, 2010 he married Sasha L. DeGrand at Little Sturgeon with Rev. Phil Sweet officiating. He really enjoyed working for NEW Industries the past 10 years as a machinist, a trade he was very good at and proud of. Following high school he worked for Old Stage Station, Evenson Laundry, Wire Craft and Wire Tech before finding NEW.

Waylon truly loved his family and dear friends and his two cats, Dude and Sissy. He looked forward to his weekly movie night with Sasha. He enjoyed working out with his friend Joe Barnes. Waylon was an avid poker player, playing in many tournaments throughout the area. He was always good at math and using numbers. Waylon loved camping, fishing, animals, music (especially rap) and was a big Michael Jackson fan. Above all he was a kind hearted, gentle man who was loving to all.

Survivors include his wife, Sasha of Sturgeon Bay; two brothers, Jason of Sturgeon Bay, Cody Becker of Egg Harbor; step-brother, Tom Syme of Egg Harbor; his cats, Dude and Sissy; dear friend, Joe Barnes; father, Eric (Marie) Becker of Egg Harbor; mother, Sandra (James) Young of Hudson, WI; maternal grandmother, Barbara Davison of Cheboygan, MI; in-laws, Faye and Joseph DeGrand of Algoma; three sisters-in-law, Melissa (Bill) Raduenz of Algoma, Jaimie (friend, Josh Harteau) DeGrand, Courtney DeGrand both of Sturgeon Bay; nieces and nephews, Carley DeGrand, Arieanna Becker, Emily Becker, Joshua Becker, Isabella Becker, Lliam Harteau, Maya Harteau; step-grandmother, Phyllis Schwennessen of Egg Harbor; many aunts and uncles and dear friends.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday (September 30, 2012) at Huehns Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillips Sweet officiating. Burial will be made in Clay Banks Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday at Huehns Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m.

Memorials will be accepted.
