Mrs. Bettye Ann (Pell) Ory, 66, of Pascagoula, MS passed away September 25, 2012. She was born January 26, 1946 to Peyton and Anna Pell. Mrs. Ory was a loving Christian daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed singing in the choir and spending time with her grandchildren. She has played piano and organ since the age of 12. She was a member of Arlington Heights Baptist Church. She was employed with Pascagoula School System - Jackson Elementary for 29 years.

Mrs. Ory is preceded in death by her father, Peyton Pell; father and mother in law, Ernest Ory Sr. and Caroline (Susie) Ory; sister in law, Donna Pell; brothers in law, Ernest (Butch) Ory, Jr. and Gary McAndrew.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, James Ory; mother, Anna Pell; brother, Robert Pell; daughters, Melissa (Larry) Kennedy, Melinda (Scott) Eckert, Michelle (Steven) Ard and Amanda (Jesse) Luc; seven grandchildren, Jaycie, Madeline, Jordan, Morgandy, Grayson, Drake and Anna Jae; sisters in law, Carol McAndrew, Judy Schaefer and Kathy Ory; brother in law, Steve (Vicki) Ory; 11 nieces and nephews; Arlington Heights Baptist Church family and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Arlington Height Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Wilkinson and Rev. Ben Carlisle. Entombment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park Masoleum in Pascagoula.

Pallbearers will be Larry Kennedy, Scott Eckert, Steven Ard, Jesse Luc, Roy (Bud) Harmon, Jr. and Justin Harmon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Waters, Mike Strandberg, John Ory and Danny Schaefer.

The family wishes to extend special thanks for the loving care given to Mrs. Ory by Sarah Tait of Home Instead and the nurses and aides from Hospice of Light. Holder-Wells Funeral Home of Moss Point, MS. is in charge of arrangements.
