SIX DEATHS IN ROSSLAND
Homes are Made Sad Because of Influenz epidemic [sic] Which Has Spread Rapidly.
...During Saturday night and Sunday morning and last night, the following also succumbed to the dread disease:
...HAYDEN--William Hayden, age 19, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hayden died Sunday morning at 8 o'clock, after a short illness of pneumonia. A young man of sterling character, a regular attendant at the young men's class of the United Church Sunday school, where he will be missed by his classmates.
The deepest sympathy goes out to all the afflicted families. The hand of death has brought sorrow to many homes within the past few days...
