Barbara Jean Mangrum Auvenshine, 76, beloved wife of Cullen Debro Auvenshine passed away on September 26, 2012 at their home on Edgefield Hwy.
Barbara was a native of Milan, TN and moved to Aiken in 1971 with her family. Barbara worked with abused and neglected children, retiring in 2003. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Granny and member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone who met her and showed Jesus' love to everyone she met.
She leaves behind a mother-in-law, Elaine Auvenshine of Dresden, TN, a sister June Gilmore of Peoria Heights, IL, two sons, Rickie Joe Rochelle of Grand Rapids, MI, and Danny (Sheila) Auvenshine of Aiken and a daughter Debra Auvenshine (Jorge) Pacifico of Aiken. She also leaves behind seven loving grandchildren, Chad (Amanda) Auvenshine, Keila (Dane) Burkhart, Vanessa Pacifico, Jorgedebro Pacifico, Melissa Pacifico and three adorable great-grandchildren Cullen, Kaleigh and Asher.
She was preceded by her parents, S.M. and Mattie Lou Mangrum, a brother, Jerry Mangrum all of Milan, TN and a sister Sylvia Harris of California.
She will be buried at Memorial Gardens in Aiken.
