Graveside service is 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Revs. Paul Craig and Robbie Moore officiating. Visitation is in the cemetery following the service.
Born in Charlotte, she was a retired mender with Hudson Hosiery Mill and Carolina Jacquard. She was a member of the University City United Methodist Church and the Charlotte Chapter of DOES.
Survivors include her son, Stephen Edwin Baisey and wife, Allene, of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Juanita H. Baisey of Mooresville; granddaughter, Tina B. Downing and husband, Peter, of Charlotte; 3 great-grandchildren, Erin Nicole Williams, Matthew A. Downing and Brian W. Downing.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Austin Baisey.
