Originally from Blountstown, due to failing health, Joe Reese had lived in Whitsett, NC for the last 4 years.
Joe Reese was retired from the Air Force after serving his country for 23 years, and had a second career with the USPS for 19 years. He was a hardworking man and always provided well for his family. He had a great love for music & especially enjoyed singing Southern Gospel.
Beloved husband, father, brother & grandfather Joe Reese was born to Mary Sue Williamson & George Washington Davis on Nov. 13, 1930, in Telogia Fla.
Joe Reese is survived by his wife of 59 years & 11months, Margaret Aultman Davis, son Reese Davis, daughter Millie Vaughan , one brother Tommy Davis;5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 27, at 2:00 pm (CST) at Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church in Blountstown with Reverend Roger King officiating. Interment will follow in the Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown.
