Services were be at 3 PM Thursday September 26, 2012 in Church of Christ at The Colonies with Dick Marcear minister officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery.
Mr. Adcock was born July 26, 1943 in Abilene to Elmer and Lela Adcock. He graduated from high school in Gruver and attended Abilene Christian University. Mr. Adcock served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his discharge Mr. Adcock moved to Amarillo and began working as a labor market analyst for Texas Employment Commission. He married Joy Kirkpatrick on July 21, 1972 in Vega.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Joy Adcock of Amarillo; a son Lance Adcock and wife Olga of Amarillo; a daughter Keri Adcock of Denver; a sister Nida Clark of Moriarty, New Mexico; and two grandchildren Benjamin Adcock and Sofia Adcock.
