He was born May 14, 1934, in McDonough County, the son of Earl and Florence King Agans. He is survived by two daughters, Crystal (Cameron) Junkin, San Diego, Calif., and Jennifer Hicks, of Texas; three sisters, Frances Phares, Macomb, Pauline Canavit, Rock Island, and Gladys (Bob) France, Industry; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Edward (Betty) Agans, Bushnell; two stepdaughters, Becky Creasy, LaHarpe, and Debbie Keener, of Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald, in infancy, and Robert.
Wayne had live in Florida, Oregon and Illinois. He moved to Monmouth, where he was the city inspector and where he owned his own electrical business. He owned O'Shagren's Restaurant in Industry during the late ‘80s.
Cremation rites were accorded. Private family graveside committal of ashes were held Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at the Doddsville Cemetery. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
