Mary M.(Perkins) Anthony, 85, Anderson, went to be with her heavenly father on Nov. 7, 2004, at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 8, 1919 in Richmond, and lived in Anderson all of her life. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene. She liked to crochet, loved being a grandmother and loved cooking for her family. A special thanks to Community Hospital.

She is survived by her five children, David and wife Diana Anthony of Anderson, Ruth Ann Miller and companion John Walker of Spencer, Mary White of Anderson, Jim and wife Judy Anthony of Anderson, and Laura Anthony of Anderson; two sisters, Virginia and husband Clarence Miller of Shelbyville, and Betty Perkins of Noblesville; grandchildren, Randy and wife Ayrron Smith, Steve and wife Terri Smith, Kenneth and wife Sandi Smith, Debbie and husband Alvin Ramsey, Kellie and husband Bruce Stone, Melanie White and companion Trent Pickett, Michael White, Mark and wife Danielle White, Jim Jr. and wife Tammy Anthony and Jennifer Lynn and husband Jim Allbaugh; 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; half sister, Theresa Perkins of Anderson; half brother, Bob and wife Susan Perkins of Kentucky; step-brother, Michael Rodenburger of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married June 25, 1937, Donald Anthony, on March 1, 1997; parents, Clinton and Edna (Easton) Perkins; daughter-in-law, Hattie Anthony; great-great-granddaughter, Marybeth Lynn Allbaugh; three sisters, Eva Borders, Alletha Barkdul and Edna Earl Eaton; and a brother, Elmer Perkins.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at New Life Church of the Nazarene, 3615 Raible Ave., with Rev. Alvin Dayton officiating.

Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd St.
