Ralph, 89, Versailles, died at 5:42 p.m., at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was the son of Sherman and Pearl (Supinger) Shiverdecker.

Surviving are two sisters: Betty Hole, Versailles, and Helen Everhart, Greenville.

Deceased are a brother, Donald "Joe"; two sisters: Ruth (Ray) Gibbons and Naomi (George) Frye; and two brothers-in-law: Harvey Hole Jr. and Rol Everhart.

He worked as a farmer where he lived on the same farm for 86 years. He also was the store manager for Male Fashions, Celina. He was a member of the United States Army serving in WWII, European Theatre. Where he also earned a Bronze Star. He was a member of the VFW, Versailles and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville.

Services are at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, with Pastor Peter Menke officiating.
