2. Samuel Kendall Gifford stated his brother died in Nauvoo in Aug 1845 but the Cemetery Record of William D. Huntington, Nauvoo Sexton for that year dosen't list him. The sexton's record appears incomplete though and some deaths are out of order. It is possible that Samuel Kendall Gifford died close by Nauvoo and was buried else where or he did not make it into the sexton's record.
