Norma (Zieman) Vorlop, 91, of Randolph, Wisconsin, was called to her eternal home on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000.
The funeral was held on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, Randolph. The Rev. Walter Goers Jr. officiated.
Mrs. Vorlop was born on June 8, 1909, in Randolph, the daughter of Albert T. and Margaret Zieman. She was married on Nov. 26, 1929, to Dr. Frederick W. Vorlop.
Mrs. Vorlop was a 1926 graduate of Randolph High School. She was employed at Jung Seed Co. as a secretary and office manager for 53 years. She lived and enjoyed life to the fullest, enjoying traveling, flowers and golfing. She especially found joy in her four great-grandchildren, the youngest of whom is 12 days old. She was a member of Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, Randolph. Her faith in God sustained her throughout her life. Survivors include her son; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Schnur, and Dorothy Waterworth; two brothers, Merwin Zieman, and Kenneth (Sadie) Zieman; one sister-in-law, Margaret Zieman; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frederick W. Vorlop; and three brothers, Clayton, Harold and Orlyn Zieman.
