Wife of Alan J. Edelman. Mother of Noelle Marie Duggan, Candace Barbara Evans and Jeanne Alyson Edelman. Daughter of Barbara M. Pytel (nee Hamlett). Grandmother of Robert Edward Francis Duggan, Andrew Evans, Alexander Mark Evans, Connor Michael Duggan, Kayla Marie Duggan, Sydney Taylor Evans, and Colin James Duggan. Mother-in-law of Mark Evans and Robert Duggan. Mrs. Edelman was a Registered Nurse at the V.A. Hospital in Northport, N.Y. where she had great impact on the lives of our veterans as a counselor. She earned her B.S. in Nursing at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue and her Master's Degree from Sacred Heart University. She was an active member at church, St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lake Ronkonkoma. Mrs. Edelman devoted her life to caring about others - her family, her patients and her friends. She loved to vacation at Walt Disney World with her family. She was a hard-working, dedicated, and loving person and is missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Edelman lost her battle with colon cancer on May 17, 1997, 15 days after her 50th birthday.
