Mrs. Alice Delilah Morse, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. Z. Hiser in Gladwin on Friday, March 19, from a heart attack. Alice Delilah Brown was born in VanBuren county, on April 7, 1876. She married Eugene Morse in July,, 1895, in Gobels. Mrs. Morse has made her home in Gladwin county from time to time for the past 21 years, spending the last ten years in the home of her daughter. Mr. Morse passed away in 1927.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hiser and Mrs. Emery Sharp of Beaverton; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon in the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Wesley Wibley officiating. The body was removed to the
Reigle Funeral Home from where it was taken to Gobels on Monday for internment in the Pine Grove cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 3-31/1948 Column - 5 Page - 1.
