Marvin Wayne Inglis died September 13, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years 1 month 27 days.
Marvin was born July 17, 1946 to John Marvin and Ruby Lucille (Shuffield) Inglis in Malvern, Arkansas.

He was raised and graduated from school in Malvern, Arkansas. Marvin was inducted in the United States Air Force June 14, 1967, serving his country proudly. December 19, 2001, he and Myma Griffin were united in marriage in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They made Noble their home.
Marvin worked as a police office for many years as well as an LPN for Purcell Municipal Hospital. He retired in December 2008.

Marvin was a Mason, member of the NRA and enjoyed collecting stamps, coins and working on rose bushes. He was a people person and never met a stranger.


Marvin is preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson, Dawson.

Survivors include his wife, Myrna of the home; children, Jonathan Inglis of Caney, Oklahoma, Michael Inglis and wife, Penny of Malvern, Arkansas, Travis VanHauen and wife, Sundy of Kemoh, Texas, Austin Inglis of Noble, Andrea Otts of Norman, Justin VanHauen and wife, Cori of Great Falls, Montana;

grandchildren. Erica, Hailie, Joshua, Carson, Alexandrea, Franky, Dylan, Braden, Riley; great grandchildren, Ethan, Preston, Kylie, Landon, Harrison and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Marvin Wayne Inglis, 66, were held Sept. 15, 2012 at Wadley's Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Noble IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Wadley's Funeral Service.
