Ramona Olivia Dorothea Schock Dickhaut, 91, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Nacogdoches.

She was born on December 13, 1920 in Greenway, South Dakota to parents Karl K. Schock and Dora Strobel Schock.

She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, crafts, and the Dallas Cowboys, some days more than others. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Nacogdoches since 1988.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, Walter Dickhaut, her parents, and her brothers, Oliver Howard "Tubby" Schock, Harvy Schock and Carl Schock.

Ramona is survived by her son Dr. Steven C. Dickhaut and his wife, Charmayne of Nacogdoches, Texas, a granddaughter, Erin Dickhaut of Waco, Texas and multiple nieces, nephews and friends. Ramona will be missed.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches with Rev. Christie Hale officiating.
