Death of Mrs. John W. Abbott
Mrs. John W. Abbott, died Monday morning at 11 o'clock at her home six miles south of Lexington, her death being due to complication of diseases.
The deceased was born at Hardin, Mo., January 13, 1861, and was 60 years, 5 months and 14 days old. She married Mr. Abbott at Hardin, September 28, 1881. They moved to Lafayette county in March 1903. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willard C. Brown, Meeker, Col., and Miss Jessie Abbott living at home, and one son, Charles Abbott, of Kansas City.
The funeral services conducted by Rev. E.C. Miller were held from the home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
