Obituary: Walter B Davis, 77, husband of Isabelle Estelle (Carkhuff) Davis, died in a Columbia hospital Friday morning after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at the graveside in Brunson Cemetery this afternoon with the Rev. Ralph Occaskill officiating.
Mr. Davis was born in Hampton County, son of the late Charles Frank SR.,and Anna Louise (Greene) Davis.
Survivors include his widow, two sons, Charles H Davis and Howard Hastings Davis of New York City, one daughter, Isabel Barnes Marcinkus of Budd Lake N.J., one brother Charles Frank Davis JR., of Wadmalaw Island, and six granchildren.
