Born on June 12, 1923 in Schenectady, NY, he was a son of the late John M. and Florence Helen (Heckman) Roeber and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
He was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army for 2 1/2 years in Europe.
Ralph was a painter and worked for R.M Frantz and then East Stroudsburg University from where he retired as painting foreman.
He was a member of the East Stroudsburg Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses and was an avid wood worker, liked to read and was a great story teller.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Richard "Rick" Roeber and his wife Brenda (Foley) of East Stroudsburg; two grandchildren, Ryan Roeber and Rebecca Roeber; a special niece, Nancy (Roeber) Moyer of Snydersville and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Malcolm Roeber, Arthur Roeber and John Roeber.
