She was a Baptist and an avid gardener.
Frances was the daughter of the late Emmit and Daisy Randolph Gadberry and was the widow of Delmer N. Roy.
Mrs. Roy is survived by her four sons; Coleman Roy, Clovis Roy, and Leon Roy, all of Harrodsburg, and Tommy N. Roy of Cincinnati, Ohio, two daughters; Fayrine Phillips of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Wahneeta M. King of St. Petersburg, Florida.; three sisters, Patsy Wesley of Casey County, Kentucky, Vernel Johnson of Florida, and Lela Gadberry of Florida. Twelve grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Sunday, March 18, 2001 at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted by James Harley and Rick Snyder at 11: 00 A.M. Monday March 19, 2001 at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home, Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be: Stevie Releford, Michael Searcy, Steve Phillips, Mike Hughes, Alex Reynolds, and Robert Phillips. Interment will be in Burgin Memorial Gardens.
