Mrs. Samuel Garman died at her home near Heatons Point, Monday night of this week. Cause of death was pneumonia.
Clara Wilcox, daughter of Lyman and Mary Wilcox, was born in Princeton, October 23, 1852. She married Samuel Garman November 29, 1868, and all her married life was spent in or near Princeton. To them eight children were born, seven of whom with the father, survive the wife and mother. The children are Hattie E. Aldrich, of the city; Mrs. J. W. Johnson, of Kewanee, now at El Dorado Springs, Mo., with her sick husband; George, at Rockford; William, near Walnut; Mrs. Guy Wilson, of Vaughan's Corners; Mrs. William Miller, near Heatons Point; the Misses Grace and Bernice, at home, and Blanche, who died at the age of nine years.
