Garland Hargett, 83, died of heart failure Friday at his home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am today at Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War 2 Army Veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Hargett, the widower of Elease B. Hargett, leaves a son, Garland Lee Hargett of Halls; two sisters, Ellen Cole of Amarillo, Texas and Mildred Brown of Selmer, and a grandchild.
