Mr. Frank Smith
Ozark...Mr. Frank Smith, age 65, of Byrd Circle, Ozark died Monday evening, August 13, 1990 in the Veterans Administration Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral serrvices were hel at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 1990 from the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Billy Gaither, and Rev. John Baxter officiating, interment followed in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mr. Smith was a native of New Paris, Ohio having-lived in Ozark the past four years. He served 14 years with the Air National Guard in Hawaii and flew as a commercial airline pilot with Saudi Arabian Airlines for over 3 years. He was a Bush pilot in Laos for a number of years and made his home in various other places around the world including Thailand, Germany, and Beruit, Lebanon. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corps and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Miss Doreene Smith, Renton, Wa.; three sons, Mr. Randolph Smith, Renton, Wa.; Mr. Franklin Smith, Hawaii; and Mr. Dickson Smith, Albuquerque, N.M.; one grandson, Mr. Randy Smith, Renton, Wa.; his mother, Rhea D Smith, Ozark; and one brother, Dr. Robert Smith, New York City, N.Y.
