E. V. Buckman of 2811 Stafford Way, Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Paris, died Dec. 18, 1979 in American River Hospital in Sacramento, following an illness of two months.

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 21 at Mount Vernon Chapel with interment following in Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Sacramento.

Mr. Buckman was born Dec. 14, 1891 in Paris, the son of William R. and Katie Buckman. In 1915 he married Nellie Rohatsch, and for many years was a carpenter. He resided at 2035 Bonham Street from 1936 until 1976, when he and Mrs. Buckman moved to Sacramento to make their home.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Buckman of Sacramento; one daughter, Mrs. Ivan (Margaret) Paulk of Sacramento; two sons, Fred Buckman of Nevada City, Calif. and Bob Buckman of San Angelo; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

One son, Harry E. Buckman, preceded him in death in 1938.
