OZDIL, ALI JOHN - age 46, of Knoxville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was born at UT Hospital in Knoxville on October 13, 1965. Ali was a 1983 graduate of Webb High School and received his Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance at ETSU. His education and talents blended perfectly in his managerial position at The Forum, a fine gifts and home accessories store on Kingston Pike. Ali is remembered as an upbeat, kindhearted and very generous man with exquisite taste in quality eclectic arts and decor. He enjoyed socializing, movies, traveling and dining with his close friends, Jules, Ann and Kim, with special mention of his long time friend in Lexington, Kentucky, Brandl Skirvin. Ali is survived by his parents, Dr. Turan and Bonnie Ozdil; aunts in Turkey, Tomris Ozdil and Perihan Gunay; sister in Knoxville, Leyla Higdon with her children, Cameron, Kennedy and Eric Higdon; sister in Springfield, MO., Dr. Rana Tenorio, with her children, Emily Brinkmeyer, Ayla and Anne Mauldin; and brother in Austin, TX., Dr. Erol Ozdil with his wife, Shelly and their children, Anna-Blaire, Liam and Collins Ozdil.
