Susie Jackobena Neubeck Lloyd, 100, of Palatka, died Thursday, Nov. 29,
2001, at Palatka Health Care Center following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, she was one of 11 children born to Julius and Luella Parker Neubeck, a pioneer Florida family who operated a cattle ranch on the property now known as the Rolling Hills subdivision. She was a homemaker and a member of Lemon Heights Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Lloyd; two sons, Walter E. Lloyd and James P. Lloyd and a daughter, Mary Lavenia Johnson. She is survived by a son, Wayne Lloyd of East Palatka and two daughters,  June Bryant of Palatka and Wanda Walton of Cairo, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ted Rodda Sr. officiating. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home of Palatka.Birth date not given
