Una Henson Gilmore, 82, resident of First Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Dec.4, 1992, in Maury Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
Services will be 2:30 p.m.,Sunday in the Sandy Hook Church of Christ with James England and Paul Curless officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 3:30-9 p.m.,Saturday at Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
She was a native of Lewis County, the daughter of the late Thomas Luther and Mamie Robb Henson. She was the wife of O.W. Gilmore, to whom she had been married for 59 years. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in carpentry. She was a member of the Sandy Hook Church of Christ for 43 years.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one son, Ralph Gilmore of Jackson, Tn.; one sister, Maggie Adams of Columbia; Two Brothers, Marcus and Clarence Henson Three halfbrothers, Leroy,George and James (Jimmy) Henson, of Mt Pleasant; Half Sister Allie Henson McNabb of Hampshire,Tn. four granddaughters, Jenny Gilmore, Jill Gilmore, Rachel Gilmore and Rose Gilmore, all of Jackson.
Deceased Sister Edith Henson Marshal,Columbia, Tn,Half Sisters Ruby Henson and Dovie Ruth Henson, Tindall, Morton, Runions.
